Improve measurement efficiency with OpTest® 7 version 2.0
At its core, OpTest 7 software is the engine that drives our OpTest and LensCheck™ systems. It controls the motorized stages, source shutters, target wheels, and image capture acquisition (both video and infrared scanning) inherent in these systems. OpTest 7 also performs sophisticated image quality analysis, including the application of appropriate correction factors, and presents the measurement results to the user with powerful visual graphics and reports.
Our latest version offers users a wide array of new features providing enhanced measurement modules and improved efficiency, compatibility, and ease-of-use.
Minimum system requirements for upgrade include a system currently running OpTest 7 on a 64-bit, Windows 7 or 10 operating system. Upgrades are available for older systems*.
OpTest 7 v2.0 New Features and Enhancements

Improved Stray Light and GSF Measurements
Expand the scope of your optical testing with the new Glare Spread Function (GSF) module, which can be used with the existing Veiling Glare Index (VGI) module to fully characterize stray light effects, particularly useful for automotive applications. OpTest 2.0 offers an enhanced the Glare Spread Function measurement module to support both GSF and HDR-LSF.
Support for New Thermal Modules TM-1010/1050/1150
OpTest 7 2.0 now has a new workflow to support lens thermal measurements, compatible with the TM-1010/1050/1150 Thermal Modules for LensCheck Systems. The software also contains a programmed thermal measurement report template to enhance the thermal measurement data report utility, making measurements and tests at extreme temperatures possible.

Optimized for the Latest Generation of CMOS Sensors
New in OpTest 7 ver. 2.0 is implementation of the latest FLIR CMOS cameras with much lower noise characteristics and improved image acquisition compared with existing CCD cameras.
New 3D Graphing Capabilities
OpTest 7 2.0 now incorporates a new 3D chart package to display Through Focus Scan data and point spread function for improved data visualization.
