About the Presenter

Nathan Wallace leads the Engineering Services department at Optikos Corporation, where he oversees the design and development of advanced optical systems across diverse applications. Prior to joining Optikos, he contributed to structured‑light scanning technologies at Dimensional Photonics (later acquired by Danaher Corp.), including the successful launch of a dental scanner in 2013.

Since 2014, Wallace has served as an optomechanical engineer involved in aerial imaging lenses, microscopy systems, fluorescence imaging, and custom optical metrology instrumentation. His systems‑level approach integrates mechanical engineering with optical performance optimization. He holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the University of Pittsburgh and a master’s degree in optical sciences from the University of Arizona.
